極光足球會Aurora Fc（簡稱AFC）是由一群熱愛足球運動的華人于2017年組建成立的新興球會，球隊由一開始的不足10人的隊伍在不到一年的時間內發展到目前60多人的隊伍，球隊在紐約布魯克林區，皇后區都設有各區分隊，隊員來自中國各個省份包括港澳地區的華人隊員及南美出生的華裔球員。

《麒麟杯》《紐約唐人街杯》《紐約華人賀歲杯》《美東杯》《MACHINE CUP》《2020纽约江帆杯》等一系列比賽，並取得了5座冠軍獎杯及9座亞軍獎杯獎牌。

近年来，球会持续發展壯大，積極參與地區聯賽及各類杯賽，2021紐約極光作為紐約地區唯一華人參加了紐約地區規模最大的業餘足球聯賽Cosmospolitan Soccer League(CSL),本隊全部由華裔球員組成與紐約地區各族裔強隊交手，在身體和經驗明顯處於下風的情況下仍然打出了我們華裔的精神，展現了頑強的作風及嚴格的球隊紀律，得到了各隊的讚揚及好評，未來我們將爭取帶領華人球隊立足美東業餘足球界，並期望未來可以走向全美。

Aurora Football Club (Aurora FC or AFC) is an emerging football club founded in 2017 by a group of Chinese football enthusiasts. Starting with fewer than 10 players, the team has rapidly grown to over 60 members within a year. The club has divisions based in Brooklyn and Queens, New York, and its players hail from various provinces across China, including Hong Kong and Macau, as well as Chinese players of South American descent.

Aurora FC has participated in a series of competitions such as the Qilin Cup, New York Chinatown Cup, New York Chinese New Year Cup, East Coast Cup, MACHINE CUP, and the 2020 Jiangfan Cup, winning a total of 5 championship trophies and 9 runner-up medals.

In recent years, the club has continued to grow and actively take part in regional leagues and various cup tournaments. In 2021, Aurora FC proudly became the only Chinese team in New York to compete in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League (CSL), the largest amateur soccer league in the area. Composed entirely of Chinese players, the team faced strong opponents from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Despite being at a disadvantage in terms of physicality and experience, Aurora FC demonstrated the resilient spirit of the Chinese community, showing tenacity, discipline, and excellent sportsmanship. The team earned praise and recognition from their competitors. Looking ahead, we aim to establish a firm presence for Chinese football teams in the East Coast amateur scene and ultimately aspire to compete on a national level across the United States.
